Q: Dining out in Zurich with a Dog?

18 Jul 2017 0 Food Permalink

Happy Tuesday everyone! So this will be a quickie – yep, quickie. I wanted to throw something out at you all; ask for your opinion. Those that love me know I love. love. love. to eat. Seriously, food is just such a kiss for the soul. It makes me happy. Yet, I can be quite picky. That doesn’t mean I need to go to any high-end restaurants or cook the best cuisine a la 5* at home. It simply means I like good, fresh, and especially (mostly) healthy food. Food made with love; basically. So again, those that know me, know that I eat out around 4-6 times a week sometimes. I meet friends for lunches, for dinners, have business meetings, the whole bunch all added in one large pot.

Now those following me on snapchat and Instagram have potentially (oh, surely!) noticed that I am majorly spamming everyone with cute pictures and videos of my dog. Well, the family dog. I have her (female, yup) until the beginning of August. Although you can take dogs to a majority to restaurants and shops in Zurich, not everyone allows it and some that do, really don’t put any effort into comforting the owner. I mean: is it really that hard to place a bowl of water on the floor for the dog? Especially when the temperatures are rocketing these days? Not really. So fairly quickly I have picked out around 2-3 places that I really love, enjoy the food, have known for long, and those actually “care” for my dog. Or at least it’s well being – and thus bring water to the table. Now, I want to explore some more restaurants. You know, bring some variety into my life. So here I am asking all you pet owners – or not – living in the city or near Zurich (or knowing the area a bit) of where to go. What places are IN? What places do I definitely need to avoid, and what – generally speaking – is out there that I must try? I am curios – so I would love for anyone to drop a comment or DM me on my Instagram or Snapchat (@laura.nanette) and let me know those fine tips of yours. Would love it!

Also: My plan is to visit these restaurants (and a few new places) and write a short review for all those interested. Thoughts on that? xo

ps. what are your thoughts on my new logo? likey-like?
