6 Interior Accessory Pieces Currently on My Wishlist

Hi lovelies and happy last day of February 2021 (already)! This past week has gifted us with some amazing weather here in Zurich and inspired me to start the spring clean in our apartment (not done yet though). With the birds singing in our garden and the plants in our garden slowly starting to get green again, I feel the urge of reinventing our interior to match the spring vibes. Although I sometimes wish I could change E V E R Y T H I N G (I love changing up the vibes in our home), I have learnt that some subtle changes can go a long way.

Today I want to share some of my favourite interior accessories and furnitures with you and also give you a little insight into my wishlist for the year!

Everyone loves flowers! Not only do they bring some of the spring vibes inside our homes but they look even better in an uplifting vase such as in this Riviera Paper Vase from Octaevo. It brings happiness into our lives, and also does not kill our bank accounts – instead it is an affordable way to brighten up our moods in these times. Even more, with the shades of yellow in this vase you are totally following the 2021 trend color!

Love Handles Vase by Anissa Kermiche

Speaking of vases, I am also fully in love with this lovely vase by Anissa Kermiche which is not only known by the name “love handles” but likewise adds a sprinkle of body positivity to your home! It is much more of a splurge compared to the prior vase but I believe an investment piece that will not go out of style!

Moss Art for your home / link here

One trend that is slowly but surely coming into our homes – and one that is here to stay – is bringing nature into our homes. Now you may be thinking you’ve already got all the plants in the world in your home and are a total green-lover, but have you ever thought about bringing moss into your homes? I love the different art pieces you can buy with moss (such as the one linked above) and really want to integrate and restyle the trend in our home, too. If you are looking for a cheaper version and love DIY projects, why not try building one yourself? Check out this DIY project by sinnenrausch.ch (Austrian blog) to find some inspo on how to start!

Speaking of art on your walls – have you every thought about hanging plates on your wall? No? Well you may really want to rethink that thought because not only is there a huge variety of wall-plates out there but it really is a unique way of upping your interior game! I love the wall plates from Piero Fornasetti and my favourite one may just be this one (and most definitely is on my personal wishlist)!

Find this sofa here

This sofa is on the very top of my wishlist at the moment! If you know me, you know we bought a new sofa not very long ago (from Ikea) – and although it is very practical, I find it far from being the prettiest. Especially because our living room is so large, I feel the sofa (which is the attention-point of the room) can make or break the whole room vibe. I fell in love with this sofa from SofaCompany and may am thinking of investing into this piece (in the color Maya cream) along with the stools in the same style.

Find this Jonathan Adler pillow here

Last but not least, what is a couch or armchair without a comfortable yet stylish pillow? I am a huge, huge fan of anything Jonathan Adler does (especially his vases and pillows) and absolutely love this rainbow hand beaded pillow. It may be a splurge but most definitely another investment piece for your home! I also totally love this Happy Pills Beaded Pillow by him! And if you cannot get enough of Jonathan Adler, check out these Atlas Petite Trays which totally bring me into a positive mood!

Do you have an interior accessories or furniture wishlist for 2021, or even for spring? I would love to hear (and see!) what your must-have and most wanted items are – or whether I may have added a new item to your list ;)!
