Bruchin’ in A’Dam

Wednesday again – as soon as the week started, as soon it’ll be over again! Got so many little things planned for the weekend and I’m already looking forward to sleeping in again haha. How has your week been so far? I decided to make a lovely brunch this sunday – I absolutely love brunches. It’s breakfast – but longer, so obviously: amazing. In Amsterdam, my sister and I took the time to have long breakfasts everyday on our trip. I think breakfast is so important. I used to not eat it at all actually, but then I’d start getting hungry in between meals and just snack around. Or even better, I’d barely eat the whole day and then in the evening rob my whole fridge, haha! I also loose all energy and motivation to do anything, so I’ve gotten used to waking up on time to eat a nice breakfast everyday. Even if I don’t have much time, there is always enough time to make a quick porridge with berries – one of my favorites in winter!

In Amsterdam we found this really cute Café called “Le Pain Quotidien”. It has amaziiing foods to offer and everything is organic! The service was really great – they are all so nice! I wonder if that has anything to do with the plants they sell in Amsterdam, haha? Unfortunately they did not have glutenfree products as such, so I was dead jealous when my sister ordered french toast – it looked so damn good! However, my breakfast was mouth-watering as well. I had scrambled eggs with fresh salmon and avocado, fresh orange juice and a great sized portion of fresh seasonal fruits. I can really recommend this Café, should any of you visit Amsterdam and need a lovely little place to have breakfast at. Below are some more pictures – almost all of the great food, of course haha!

Now I’m off to work – have a great day everyone! xo

I love Le Pain Quotidien! It’s actually a Belgian chain, they are very popular here in the US. Great post.

Yes I absolutely love it – we also have it here in Zurich so I must visit the place soon!
